What are cookies

Last update: April 2026

Cookies are small text files that the website you visit stores on your device. They are used to make websites work properly and to collect information about browsing behaviour.

1. Types of cookies used

The Lextray website uses only:

  • Technical session cookies: necessary for the proper operation of the website (authentication, session maintenance, security tokens).
  • Technical preference cookies: used to store the language chosen by the user (cookie lang, duration 12 months) and the user's choice on cookie consent (cookie cookie_consent, duration 12 months).
The website does not use profiling cookies.

2. Third-party cookies

Some pages of the site embed content from Google Maps to display office locations. This content is loaded only after the user's consent via the dedicated banner and may install third-party cookies subject to their respective privacy notices:

If refused, a static placeholder with the office contact details is displayed instead of the map.

3. Cookie duration

Session cookies are deleted automatically when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies (such as the language cookie) have a maximum duration of 12 months.

4. How to manage cookies

Users may change their choices at any time via the Manage cookie preferences link available in the site footer, which allows individual toggling of third-party cookies (Google Maps). Alternatively, browser settings may be adjusted to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Instructions for the most common browsers are available on their official support pages:

Disabling technical cookies may compromise the proper operation of the website. For any question you can write to ; for complaints the competent authority is the Luxembourg Commission Nationale pour la Protection des Données (CNPD) — www.cnpd.lu.

5. Changes to this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy may be amended or updated at any time. Changes will be published on this page together with the date of the last update.
